Martial Arts Institute was established in the early 1980's and was located at 
340 San Juan Grade rd. in Salinas Ca. for the last 14 years.  We have now moved to 8043 Prundale Ca., In the Prundale Shopping Center. Our business hours are from 5:00pm to 8:30pm Monday through Friday and Saturday by appointment. 
M.A.I. offers separate classes for both Children and Adult. We teach the art of American Kenpo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, M.M.A. Training   and Pilates. We also offer Free Weights and Cardio Equipment to enhance your Martial Arts training.

The goal of Martial Arts Institute is to build character along with establishing confidence, determination and self-discipline.

Our Philosophies and teaching ethics are direct and to the point. We believe in positive reinforcement, especially when dealing with children, this is the modern way to train a beginning student.

 I have trained with many Masters through my life and I will never stop learning! Always remember when looking for a Martial Art School, it is not the style of the school but the stylist in the school. There is no style that is better than another style.

All martial art styles have their merits, but may only work on one or two aspects of the art.
